Jul 29th, 2010

I would like to know where Betsy Ruth, awesome kong and the rest of female wrestling went, they need to pick up that men also would love to watch women wrestle, hello! It can and will add more dimension to the sport of wrestling. Bottom line is we need more female wrestling!

MsChif Loses Her SHIMMER Title after 2 years! Congrats Madison Eagles

Apr 12th, 2010

MsChif has had the SHIMMER title since April 26th, 2008 when she won the title against Sara Del Rey. MsChif became the 2nd champion for SHIMMER and kept it until April 11th, 2010 when she lost to Madison Eagles at SHIMMER’s main event on Volume 31.
This only marks the 2nd time the SHIMMER title changed since it’s conception.

Tara vs Daffney in a 1st Blood Match

Mar 24th, 2010

Not to toot my own horn but I normally can predict wrestling matches. For example; March 29th, 2010 TNA Knockout Champion Tara meets Daffney in a 1st Blood match. Tara has been queen of the jungle since her arrival kicking everyone’s ass with her superb finisher.
Though this is not a title match, it is a 1st blood match. Also, Daffney has been getting a lot of deserved fan love. She is a great wrestler, has a great gimmick, and is very hardcore.
So I am going out on a limb to say Daffney wins this with the taste of 1st blood and a great prelude to a spectacular title rematch. TNA, TNA, TNA!

Wrestlicious – Beautiful People vs Ghouls Gone Wild

Mar 20th, 2010

If you are a wrestling fan you have seen these wrestlers compete before in other promotions like SHIMMER and TNA. Wrestlicious designed a match which consisted of Amber Lively (Madison Rayne in TNA) and Lacey Von Erich (TNA) versus Draculetta (Daffney of TNA) and White Magic (The semi-retired Lacey of SHIMMER).
This may have been the hottest match I have ever watched! Amber is in a cheerleader outfit and Lacey was shaking around much like the goth girls did in gym class back in my school days. What really put me over was Draculetta… she could sink her teeth into my neck anytime! Normally, I watch these matches for more than eye candy purposes as I do appreciate the great talent these women are. Though let us be honest here, it is Wrestlicious. I can’t say this promotion is exactly what is needed to push female wrestling, but I do appreciate these talented wrestlers being exploited on a main stage. I will continue to watch and assess Wrestlicious Baby!

WWE Most Impactful Women List is a Joke

Mar 15th, 2010

The Top 25 Most Impactful Women of WWE was a ridiculous display of favoritism and spite, not a real list.
First off, the list:
25. Torrie Wilson
24. Bull Nakano
23. Ivory
22. Kelly Kelly
21. Jacqueline
20. Vickie Guerrero
19. Molly Holly
18. Stacy Keibler
17. Beth Phoenix
16. Luna Vachon
15. Miss Elizabeth
14. Melina
13. Alundra Blayze
12. Mae Young
11. Wendi Richter
10. Michelle McCool
9. Sunny
8. Lita
7. Mickie James
6. Sable
5. Stephanie McMahon
4. Sensational Sherri
3. Chyna
2. Fabulous Moolah
1. Trish Stratus.
Let me start off by saying, where the hell is Lisa Marie Varon (Victoria/Tara)? The WWE Universe must be nervous of the talent in TNA to not include her. The politics that is played sometimes… I am shocked that Alundra Blayze made it in the top 25 considering she threw the WWE Women’s title in the garbage.
Kelly Kelly makes it to 22. I am a fan of Kelly, though isn’t it way too early to include her in this elite group. Vickie Guerrero??? That’s embarrassing to admit! I guess impactful could mean shoving her down your throat every week merely to irritate and screech at the WWE audience. Gail Kim should have been thrown into this group for sure. Super talented and utilized well in TNA. Why she left to go back to WWE is unknown to me. WWE has no idea what to do with this talent. (sound familiar Victoria/Tara?)
I could pick this whole list apart including Sunny landing at number 9, and Michelle McCool at number 10. McCool has more talent in her pinkie then Sunny has in her entire body.
Stephanie McMahon gets picked number 5…really? Why not 2 or 1? After all, she is the boss. She takes part in the business side of WWE, she has creative control which explains why Triple H gets the Main Event matches between his time off with his family, and she hires and fires more wrestlers then fans will ever know… just ask Chyna.
Lastly, Trish Stratus should be placed at number 2. I understand she was hot and the fans loved her… I think Vince McMahon was her biggest fan; but the Fabulous Moolah dominated women’s wrestling for 30+ years, including a title win in her 70s.
I have Victoria in my top 10 WWE, and Michelle McCool in my top 5! I hope nobody else takes this list too serious.

Another Leap for Women’s Wrestling!

Mar 13th, 2010

We are proud to announce that Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) got a TV deal with Fight Network in Canada. No other promotion deserves such a push right now.
Female Wrestling is on an upward spiral of popularity simply due to the talent of the new generation of women wrestlers. Fans have got deep respect for the talent pool in the women’s division which includes names like Mercedes Martinez (WSU champion), Sara Del Rey, Melissa Anderson, Kia Stevens (Awesome Kong), and many, many more.
WSU has definitely stepped it up for the female wrestlers and fans alike. This promotion does a great shows, you see one, you will be hooked for ever!

Wrestler of the Week – Tara!

Mar 10th, 2010

The Wrestler of the Week is Tara, the TNA Knockout champion. Tara has done many things to surprise us in her career. She has wrestled and beaten the best wrestlers and continues to beat the best wrestlers.
Since her entry into TNA, Tara has continued to her fire. She won the TNA Knockout title almost immediately and has taken out the top talent in a very talented division. Tara took out Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, ODB who she took the title from this time… and yes, Awesome Kong in a cage.
Tara continues her winning ways and is holding on to her TNA Knockout title tightly. This week she competed in the highest rated match on the highest rated night for TNA. Fans love the very skilled TNA Knockout wrestlers and Tara tops this division. In a losing effort to grab hold of the TNA Tag Team Knockout titles as well, Tara‘s success was stopped short by Daffney‘s interference.
Nevertheless, Tara makes me proud to not only support women’s wrestling, but even more specifically the TNA Knockouts as they have raised the bar in wrestling entertainment. I will watch TNA on Monday Nights largely due to the Knockouts.
We look forward to every match Tara, this is why you are our Wrestler of the Week!
