Melina IS Diva - Debut. She first came into WWE in April of 2005 as the manager for MNM which included John Morrison (also known as Johnny Nitro).

Her WWE in ring debut came on June 30th, 2005 in a match against Michelle McCool. Melina's first match was a victory as she defeated Michelle. Her next match was against Torrie Wilson, again she came out ahead.

In 2005 during the Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show, Melina won a Divas Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the title which was wore by Trish Stratus. The next pay-per-view was Survivor Series in which Melina challenged Trish for the title but lost with the interference of Mickie James..

It wouldn't be until February 19th, 2007 when this came full circle as Melina Perez beat Mickie James for the WWE Women's Title.

Melina came with Johnny Nitro and Mercury to WWE as the team MNM which stands for Mercury, Nitro and Melina. She came in with great success though the real chemistry between Nitro and Mercury was not a friendly one. Eventually they had to be split up. The same could be said for Melina and Nitro who are now also separate.
